The Leaside Children’s House Preschool Day Camp Difference. What makes a summer camp experience special and worthwhile? Of course it should be fun filled and exciting! However, at our summer camp we believe that it should be much more. It should be an opportunity for each child to grow, explore, develop new skills, be nurtured and form friendships, all within a caring and safe environment. This is the world we are committed to providing at Leaside Children’s House Preschool Summer Day Camp. In doing this, it is our goal to join with parents in creating for their children a childhood that will be full of wonderful “memories that will last a lifetime”. Under The Sea: We will start camp off under the sea! This week we will have lots of fun creating ocean crafts, playing fun games and water play!
On the farm: Mosey on down to the farm with us this week! We will have a swell time learning about all sorts of farm animals, creating fun crafts and completing in our very own horse race!
Camping: It’s time to get out into “the woods” in the playground. This week we will “camp out” during the day in tents, make some yummy treats to eat in front of the “campfire” and play lots of fun games!
A Pirate’s Life for Me: Ohoy Matey! Its time to board the ship and set sail for a week thats full of high seas adventures! Our climber will be transformed this week into our very own pirate ship! We will explore pirate life and the high seas on our very own treasure hunt in the playground!

August

Safari Adventure: Calling all animals lovers! This is for the preschooler who wants to learn more about some fantastic African animals. We will be making some binoculars and going on our own safari! This week also includes a program from WHIMZ live animal presentations.
Hawaiian Luau: Aloha! This week we will learn all about island life in the Pacific! We will be having a “surf” competition, learn how to do some Hawaiian dancing and we will be having our own Hawaiian Luau!
Sports Fans: Calling all sports fans! Everybody we will gear up and learn to play a new sport, and at the end of the week we will hold our own track and field competition!
Leaside Rockstars: Our last two weeks of camp are all about music! We will be making our own instruments, listening to music from all over the world and put on our own fantastic shows for our fellow campers!

Time: We are open from 7:30am – 6:00pm.

We will enjoy physical activities, games, crafts, music and stories and play on the playground and splash around in our mini wading pool.
What to bring:
Wear your swimsuit under your play clothes on water days, bring a towel, your sunscreen, a hat and one disposable camera. Please label all personal items.
